Click2Public Delivers End-to-End Event Management & Digital Outreach for Youth Run Punjab 2026 in Bathinda
A 360° On-Ground, Digital & Influencer-Led Campaign Reaching Thousands Across Bathinda
Bathinda witnessed one of Punjab's largest youth-centric public events with Youth Run Punjab–2026, a 5-kilometre run that brought together nearly 20,000 youngsters, athletes, women, children and senior citizens with a common message — choosing sports, fitness and a healthy lifestyle over drugs.
The event was organised as part of the "Yudh Nashean Virudh" (War Against Drugs) campaign and was held under the broader leadership and direction of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal. AAP's official communication described the Bathinda run as the third event in the Youth Run Punjab series.
For Click2Public, the event was not simply an on-ground assignment. It was a complete 360° event, communication and digital outreach campaign, combining live event setup, programme execution, district-level digital outreach and influencer marketing to maximise visibility and public engagement.
For the 2026 event cycle, Click2Public's integrated approach demonstrated how physical events can be transformed into large-scale digital communication campaigns — reaching audiences far beyond the venue.
The Bathinda edition of Youth Run Punjab was held on 13 September 2026 as a 5-km run promoting sports, fitness and a drug-free Punjab. The event saw participation on a massive scale, with organisers and reports putting the turnout at around 20,000 participants.
The run began from PUDA Market on Power House Road, covering key locations including Ghoda Chowk, ICICI Chowk, Bibi Wala Road and Fauzi Chowk, before returning to PUDA Market.
Participants were provided with T-shirts and participation medals, while winners across categories received cash prizes, with the first prize reported at ₹11,000.
The event also carried a strong public message around transforming the perception of Punjab from the negative "Udta Punjab" narrative towards "Khed'da Punjab, Bhajda Punjab – Rangla Punjab", with sports and fitness positioned as positive alternatives for the state's youth.
The Youth Run Punjab initiative formed part of the wider "Yudh Nashean Virudh" anti-drug campaign associated with the Aam Aadmi Party-led Punjab government.
According to the AAP's official account, the Bathinda event was organised under the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal publicly appreciated the participation and positioned the event as a demonstration of renewed confidence among Punjab's youth.
Punjab CM's OSD Rajbir Singh Ghuman served as the chief guest at the Bathinda event. The event was also associated with Bathinda Mayor Padamjit Singh Mehta and Punjab Cricket Association President Amarjit Mehta.
The Bathinda run followed earlier editions of Youth Run Punjab in Punjab, including events in Mohali and Jalandhar, expanding the campaign's sports-and-fitness messaging across the state.
Click2Public played a key role in converting the physical event into a large-scale public communication and digital outreach campaign. Our responsibility covered multiple layers of the event:
- Building pre-event awareness
- Creating participation-oriented communication
- Generating local digital buzz
- Amplifying key event moments
- Reaching audiences across Bathinda district
- Creating shareable social media content
- Extending the event's visibility beyond the physical venue
The strategy connected the on-ground event with a broader digital audience, ensuring that the campaign had both physical presence and online momentum.
This influencer-led approach helped add a more local and relatable layer to the overall communication strategy while expanding the event's digital footprint.
The Bathinda Youth Run demonstrated the importance of integrating event execution with strategic digital communication. Click2Public's approach followed a complete campaign ecosystem:
This integrated approach ensured that the event was experienced not only by the thousands who participated physically, but also by a much wider audience through digital platforms.
