📋 UP SIR 2026 Voter Roll Changes · 403 Constituencies
The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of electoral rolls in Uttar Pradesh has resulted in a decline in registered voters across all 403 Assembly Constituencies. According to the final electoral roll, released after comparing it with the pre-draft electoral roll dated October 27, 2025, every Assembly Constituency in Uttar Pradesh recorded a reduction in its voter count. The decline has been particularly significant in major urban and semi-urban constituencies such as Lucknow, Agra, Noida, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Meerut and Prayagraj.
Every single constituency — all 403 — recorded a reduction in voter count. Urban and semi-urban areas saw the highest declines, with Lucknow Cantonment topping the list at 34.18% reduction. Sahibabad recorded the largest absolute drop of 3,16,484 voters (30.36%).
The data indicates significant voter mobility, migration and changes in voter records affecting electoral rolls across the state. The impact was particularly visible in constituencies where demographic shifts and urbanization patterns are most pronounced.
The SIR 2026 data is likely to become an important reference point for political parties and campaign organisations preparing for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election. The constituency-wise changes can help identify constituencies with significant voter-base changes, urban and semi-urban areas with high voter reductions, and areas requiring fresh booth-level voter mapping.
The highest percentage reduction was recorded in urban constituencies across Lucknow, Prayagraj, Agra, Kanpur and Meerut. Lucknow Cantonment leads with 34.18% decline.

This pattern suggests large-scale voter mobility, migration and changes in demographic composition that will be crucial for political parties to factor into their 2027 election strategies.
